Elite Scissors is an Australian-owned company designing and importing premium hairdressing scissors made from ATS-314 AND 440C Japanese steels. Created by women for professionals, our scissors are ergonomically engineered to protect stylists’ hands, enhance performance, and inspire confidence behind the chair. Alongside our education arm, Elite Hair Education, we deliver cutting-edge training programs , empowering the next generation of stylists. We have expanding our reach across Australia and New Zealand and are seeking passionate, relationship-driven Sales Agents in Australia to join our growing network and represent our brand in the field.
POSITION OVERVIEW
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Represent the Elite Scissors brand to salons, stylists, educators, and distributors in your allocated territory.

Generate sales of Elite Scissors’ professional range through demonstrations, events, and in-salon visits.

Promote and distribute Elite Hair Education’s Scissor Licence and workshop flyers to TAFE campuses, academies, and salons.

Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities.

Meet agreed monthly sales targets and provide regular updates to the national sales manager.

Submit monthly invoices for commission payment, including GST.

Participate in product training sessions and stay informed on scissor ergonomics, steel types, and design features.

Provide client feedback to support continuous improvement in product design and marketing.
CONTRACT TERMS
Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (Commission-Based)

ABN Required: Yes — you must hold a valid Australian Business Number.

Remuneration: Over 30% commission on gross sales (including GST).

Invoicing: Agents must submit a monthly invoice to Elite Scissors for commission payment.

Territory: Exclusive regional territory agreed upon at commencement.

Reporting: Monthly sales activity and client updates to be submitted to management.

Expenses: Agents are responsible for their own travel, phone, and marketing expenses unless otherwise agreed.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Experience in sales, account management, or education within the hair, beauty, or professional tools industry.
