We have chosen 9Cr18MoV steel for our starter kit using a high-end stainless steel from China rated equally 440C steel used to manufacture durable, precision scissors, and is recognised for its remarkable hardness HRC 58-60, superior edge retention, and better corrosion resistance than 440C steel, thanks to its high carbon and chromium content. The chemical composition of this type of steel also consists of Manganese, 1.3% Molybdenum, 0.6% Nickel, 0.04%, and 0.12% Vanadium. The design of the blades and handles are exactly the same as our Premium series Scissors.

WARRANTY POLICY:

Elite Scissors offers a 10 year warranty for the purchase of all scissors purchased from Snipt Pty Ltd, Elite Hair Education, Elite Scissors or our authorised sales agents.

All faulty scissors under our warranty policy must be returned to Elite Scissors by a tracked service for inspection. We also require a copy of the receipt or evidence of purchase. If found to have a manufacturer's fault they will be replaced at no charge to our customers.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:

The warranty for our scissors is a manufacturer's fault policy. It does not include and we are not liable for damage caused by dropping or misuse of your scissors, and does not include damage caused from sharpening by unqualified bladesmiths.

Our warranty may become void if you damage your scissor blade edges by chipping, dropping, incorrect tension or incorrect sharpening, poor maintenance, poor cleaning, or care of your scissors with chemicals or by not following our care guidelines.

We do offer assistance by way of reduced price replacement if you do accidentally damage your scissors.
